What I love most about what I do: I love taking the time to really listen to someone; you just don't see that in the medical field that often. I love problem solving, and I can really exercise my mind here!

You would be surprised to know that: I’m completely self-supporting. I love hard/punk rock. I’ve designed two tattoos. I’m independently contracted to, “Wag!” but I’m quitting since they never end me work, and I’ve got a deep water phobia, (thalassophobia).

What I love most about what I do: My heart fills with joy to see the recognition of an owner by their fur baby! Watching an playing with our patients, educating our clients on preventative care. Keeping my fur babies healthy. I have no problem getting up and coming to my fun job!
Who I am when I'm not at Davis Animal Hospital: My husband, Ralph and I are empty nesters, moved here in October when he retired from UPS in Alabama. Our 2 awesome adults, Dr Fredrick O’Neal and Melanie O’Neal (in nursing school) make us proud parents! We love kayak fishing, going to the beach and just being outdoors.

She can be found running reception or assisting the veterinarians with exams or surgeries.
Her knowledge of the veterinary field is extensive with over 20 years in the industry.
She is incredibly compassionate and kind and is known for rescuing dogs or cats in need of a second chance.
Julie enjoys spending her days off with her husband Chuck and their adorable grandkids.
She is mom to a small herd of chihuahuas, a rambunctious boxer and cat.
