Canine Vaccine Protocol

If between 6-14 weeks:

DA2PP every 2-3 weeks until 15-16 weeks old

2 Leptospirosis vaccines 2-4 weeks apart (MUST be older than 12 weeks) (if not boostered within 5 weeks, must restart series)

1 yr Rabies vaccine (MUST be older than 12 weeks)

1 yr Bordetella vaccine(intra-nasal)


If at least 15 weeks but less than 1 year and without vaccine history:

2 DA2PP vaccines 2-3 weeks apart

2 Leptospirosis vaccines 2-4 weeks apart (if not boostered within 5 weeks, must restart series)

1 yr Rabies vaccine

1 yr Bordetella vaccine (intra-nasal)


If older than 1 year and without vaccine history:

1 yr DA2PP vaccine

2 Leptospirosis vaccines 2-4 weeks apart (if not boostered within 5 weeks, must restart series)

1yr Rabies vaccine

1 yr Bordetella vaccine (intra-nasal)


If older than 1 year with proof of DA2PP, Leptospirosis and Rabies vaccines:

3 yr DA2PP vaccine

1 yr Leptospirosis vaccine

3 yr Rabies vaccine

1 yr Bordetella vaccine (intra-nasal)

*ALWAYS recommend fecal exam.

*Heartworm test recommended for any dog 7-8 months old or older if not on heartworm preventative.


Initial Puppy Visit:

Exam, DA2PPV, +/- Rabies, +/- Leptospirosis, Bordetella, Ova and Parasite Test, Dewormer


Puppy Booster Visit:

Medical Progress Exam, DA2PPV, +/- Rabies, +/- Leptospirosis, Ova and Parasite Test


Adult/Senior Wellness Package:

Exam, +/- DA2PPV, +/- Rabies, +/- Leptospirosis, Bordetella, Ova and Parasite Test, Heartworm Test

*Recommend appropriate bloodwork for all adult or senior pets based on age and medical history.

Senior Panel: (includes ova and hwt)

Adult Panel: (includes ova and hwt)

*Add appropriate flea and heartworm preventative.


*There must be a 14 day interval between vaccine administration (important to review with initial puppy visit)


Feline Vaccine Protocol

If between 6-14 weeks:

FVRCP every 2-3 weeks until 15-16 weeks old

1 yr Rabies (MUST be at least 12 weeks old)

2 Feline Leukemia vaccines 2-3 weeks apart (MUST be older than 12 weeks) (regardless of indoor vs. outdoor status) *(if not boostered within 5 weeks, must restart series)

+/- Felv/FIV Combo Test (MUST be older than 12 weeks old)


If at least 15 weeks but less than 1 year and without vaccine history:

2 FVRCP vaccines 2-3 weeks apart

1 yr Rabies

2 Feline Leukemia vaccines 2-3 weeks apart (MUST be older than 12 weeks) (regardless of indoor vs. outdoor status) *(if not boostered within 5 weeks, must restart series)

+/- Felv/FIV Combo Test


If older than 1 year and without vaccine history:

1 yr FVRCP

1 yr Rabies

If exposed to the outdoors also include:

2 Feline Leukemia vaccines 2-3 weeks apart (if not boostered within 5 weeks, must restart series)

+/- Felv/FIV Combo Test


If older than 1 year and with proof of FVRCP, Rabies, and +/- Felv vaccines:

3 yr FVRCP

3 yr Rabies

1 yr Feline Leukemia

+/- Felv/FIV Combo Test

*ALWAYS recommend fecal exam.

*ALWAYS recommend combo testing (FIV/FELV) for cats with exposure to the outdoors (unless current on annual vaccine).


Initial Kitten Visit:

Exam , FVRCP, Feline Leukemia , +/- Rabies,  Ova and Parasite Test, +/- Felv/FIV Combo Test

(Must be older than 12 weeks for combo test), Dewormer


Kitten Booster Visit:
