Owned by: Bella and JR, the horses, Blaze the dog, Zack the cat, Johnny the mini mule, and a small herd of Nubian goats named Dolly, Ringo, Wyatt, and Virgil.

What I love most about what I do: I love advocating for pets and owners and constantly learning and improving my skills as a veterinary technician.

Who I am when I’m not at Davis Animal Hospital: I am an equestrian and amateur writer. I also play the Irish flute and flageolet and enjoy alternative and traditional folk music and a little old-school classic rock'n'roll. When not working with the horses, I read, play music, play a video game, or watch old westerns. I also spend an unhealthy amount of time reading feed labels and researching equine and canine nutrition.

You would be surprised to know that: If I were to return to school, I'd be getting a history degree focusing on medieval/ancient history and a minor in creative writing. I have taken some jousting lessons and am working on getting back into various martial arts. Swords are cool :)
