Dr. Maynes earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Stetson University before attending the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated magna cum laude. She also earned a certificate in Aquatic Animal Medicine, reflecting her passion for unique and exotic species.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Maynes enjoys life with her husband and their lively fur crew: two mini Aussies, Kida and Beau, a chocolate Lab named Levi, and a cat named Mako. She’s especially passionate about caring for exotic pets and loves educating owners on how to help these uncommon animals thrive.
When she’s not busy helping patients, you can find her gardening, playing pickleball with her husband, gaming, or cheering on her favorite soccer team, Arsenal.
