What I love most about what I do: This is a two part answer for me. When working with our pet owners, I love to educate them about anything they may not know about so they can be informed and therefore be the best pet owners to their beloved furry family members. I like to discuss anything from simple questions about intestinal worms to complicated and difficult anesthesia questions. When behind the scenes, I enjoy every aspect of nursing care. My favorite tasks, that I take very seriously, are anesthesia and dentistry.

Who I am when I'm not at Davis Animal Hospital: My family and I enjoy playing outdoors at the park, the beach, kayaking, swimming, running around splash pads (or sprinklers!), and relaxing in the sun. We love get-togethers with family and friends while watching the kids grow up. I enjoy gardening and, although I'm not very good at it, I really like carpentry.

You would be surprised to know that: Although I am vegetarian, I cook and provide meat to my family. My kids says I make the best ever marinated chicken and vegetable kabobs. I'll take their word for it!
