Dr. Michelle Stephenson has wanted to be a vet since she was three. Her parents even recall some of her first words being "doggie" and "doctor." Her first job at 14 was cleaning pet kennels for free because she loved being around veterinary medicine.
In 1992, she married her high school sweetheart, and they have two adult sons—one in law enforcement and the other a soon-to-be UWF student!
Born and raised in eastern Kentucky, Dr. Stephenson attended Auburn for her Veterinary education. She practiced in West Virginia from 1998 to 2001, Kentucky from 2001 to 2005, and most recently in Pace, Florida, from 2005 to the present.
Dr. Stephenson has a particular interest in small animal dentistry and comes with over 20 years of dental-surgical experience.
She is the proud pet momma of 5 dogs, two cats, and several chickens.
Dr. Stephenson brings over 22 years of experience to the team.
